About 

Focus and Flo is a counselling and education partnership.

I am a registered teacher and qualified counsellor. I have spent the last nine years working in, and advocating for, inclusive education. 

​

I have worked as school-based advocate connecting families and their young people to solve problems and remove barriers at school. As a counsellor I am able to influence change for families beyond the school gate.

I am currently a curriculum leader supporting accessible assessments and championing universal design for learning.

Having completed my Masters of Counselling in 2019, I work mostly with Narrative and Solutions focused therapies. I am a non-pathologising, collaborative practitioner. I support client with regulation, shifting perspectives and looking for the next small step towards change.

I have an interest in trauma and traumatic growth, burn out, nervous system regulation, neurodivergence, life stage transitions. 

 

Outside of my professional life; I am a dog lover, coffee enthusiast, mother of two. I have lived experience with ADHD (combined) and PostNatal wobbles.

As a mobile service I can meet you at your home or work, favourite park, local library or online.

Regularly servicing 4173, 4174, 4172,4171, beyond attracts a travel fee.

NDIS rates are $130.00/hr.

I can accept self and plan managed NDIS participants.
